The two 12-ga red wires run in parallel from the B+ alternator terminal to the 30 terminal on the starter, where they connect to a 1-ga wire to the battery. The blue wire goes from the D+ terminal to the alternator light circuit in the panel. This circuit is dual-purpose; as well as warning, it's also needed to start the alternator charging.
