I have an '86 Westy. I have acquired a replacement sliding door for mine, which has some rust issues. The door is from an '84 Westy. Looking at ETKA and Bentley I see that some changes occurred between '85 and '86 with the sliding door. At least the hinges and door latches are different. Looking at ETKA, the doors themselves have different part numbers. Does anyone have experience using a mismatched door? I'm hoping it is simply a few more/less holes drilled for mounting the modified parts. I believe (guess) that the track on the van body is different also to accommodate the differences in the sliding hinge. Any insight will be helpful :-) D
