A very tricked-out medium blue westie syncro, Montana plates. Big tube front bumper, custom looking rear hatch rack, driving lights, alloy wheels and big brakes, looked lifted up, awning. and a 3.3 subie motor. I actually stopped for a look and to talk to the guy in the Subie mechanic shop in front of which it was parked. Tony the Subie man...he was a bit busy, so I didn't get the owner's story. He offered a 2.2 subie conversion for around $3000...didn't follow through with the full story on that since another customer came in..a paying customer rather than like me..a tire kicker. His worker had driven the vanagon and said it was "Really something! Really fast!" What a nice looking vehicle.. Don Hanson
