oh, sorry if that wasn't perceived as a compliment.
I was impressed, shall we say,
or, to put it another way, many men would consider themselves lucky indeed to have a woman partner/friend who is up for such adventure !

You need a woman to chime in here in response to your "not like a woman" comment - so here goes - a woman might want to drive "straight through" just for the adventure. Or to simply get to the destination.
Donna, 87 Syncro, 12-14 hours to Vegas or Kingman or Laughlin in the van or on a motorcycle - meal and gasoline breaks however :)

I don't see it as that big a deal.
*especially* since you'll be in your Westy.
If you feel like taking a break, or stopping for a few hours sleep and

I like long drives myself.
I don't even get warmed up until 10 hours or so have gone by, more or less.
Go for it, just be careful.
The biggest danger I'd think, would be the risk of falling asleep at the
wheel.
Personally ..........I just never let my eyes loose focus, or go cross-eyed.
If you start letting that happen, next thing you know, you could nod off.
My personal rule is zero tolerance for being drowsy/sleepy behind the
wheel - either stay well focused and awake, or don't drive. The cost of
slipping there can be quite high. Just 'can not' let it happen - dozing off
at the wheel, even for a second.
Not like a woman, generally speaking, in my experience, to want to do a 24
hour drive straight through- unless the idea is to just get it over with.
just be safe whatever you do.
At least we have the freedom and ability to drive 24/7 if we want.
