I fill my tank both ways, from the outside filler and from the inside.
I discovered that the end of my ignition key works to open the exterior
"lock" so that little plastic door flips. Just the tip of the key as it's
sort
of bulbous/rounded on the end and just enuf of a tab on it to trip the
simple
internal locking tab under that lid.
