I can't claim to be a Coastie (these guys deserve a lot of respect and should be capitalized!) but I did work at the CG Station in Cordova AK and then again for a few years at the granddaddy of Alaska Stations - the Coast Guard Air Station at Kodiak. So I feel Coastie-like. But no kidding - I saw some really amazing CG activity in Alaska - lots of lives saved. My hat is off to the Coast Guard and the Coasties everywhere. BTW - I have three Vanagons. John Rodgers Clayartist and Moldmaker 88'GL VW Bus Driver Chelsea, AL Http://www.moldhaus.com Peter T.
