The old stuff was just graphite in kerosene or something similar to
carry it along the cable.  I'm going to check out the motorcycle
cable lube before I start thinking about compounding some.

Does anyone have good ideas where to get Tri-Flow in New England?  I
tend to get strange looks asking for it.
