Howdy Bob, I don't live near SLC any longer (Colorado native), but I'm planning on running through that area from time to time in the future. This spring/summer consider organizing something up along Solider's Summit along Hwy 6 between Spanish Fork and Price. The Unita NF is one of the most overlooked and beautiful places in the west and its right near SLC. Plus the highway driving is still, more-or-less, what it was like when our vans were new. Anyone in the Salt Lake area interested in just meeting in a local park or other open space for a quick, likely-weekend get together to try and generate some interest in sharing "stuff" about our rides? I'm retired so have very little life-stuff interfering with my time so I'm very flexible regarding time/place. A suggestion is Sugarhouse Park as it's close to I-80/I-1-15/I-215 freeway access at about 21st S. and 13th E.
