My bus isn't anywhere ready to make the journey yet, but the idea is certainly on my mind. I've traveled in Mexico before and found car insurance for the same, but in the back of my mind is the idea of taking things a couple of steps further someday. Has anyone found good insurance for countries south of the Mexican southern boarder? I do! My Mexican Insurance is with San Xavier Mexico Insurance in Nogales AZ. The owners name is Bob and his office is simply known as Mexico Bob's. San Xavier Mexico Insurance www.mexican-autoinsurance.com 1777 North Frank Reed Road Nogales, AZ 85621-4031 (520) 377-0424 I've got all my vehicles insured with him and full coverage is cheap. Plus you can get Roadside Insurance (towing, etc). One of the cool things Bob does is set aside a room in his office for mail and packages for his customers in Mexico. If I need a part, I have it sent to Bob's and pick it there next time I'm in the states (I've lived half-time in Mexico since 1997, full-time since 2005).
