Subject:Power window on drivers side not working need advice
From:Robert Stewart

So up until about a month my drivers side power window worked. I had
the motor pulled and reconditioned by my mechanic this summer so they
should not be the issue.

The drivers side unit worked no problem, went on vacation and when I
came back the drivers side window worked but the next day it did not.
The switch felt a little hot though the last time I used it. I may
have over-soldered it.

Anyway the drivers side window still works fine.

I bought a replacement set of drivers side switches, and the drivers
side window still does not work.

I test both switches and since I new the passenger window system
worked from the leads on the drivers side I put the drivers side on
the passenger side switch wiring and it worked fine.

So now I have deduced that it must be something with the wiring on the
drivers side window or a fuse.

Any ideas?

Is there a separate fuse for the drivers side window switch and
another for the passenger side?

Thanks in advance.
