Never, urban legend. I even never had any problem with the oil cooler O-ring (oil). When I see oil leak in that area I always look elsewhere. This is not a "problem part" Ben http://www.benplace.com/vw2.htm >I am curious how often folks have seen an Oil Cooler leak Coolant ?
