While out on appointments today, spotted a Syncro on the lot of Rialta Heaven in Milford, Indiana on US 15. Stopped in on the way back to ask price. Didn't have much time to talk but two gentlemen inside suggested it may be listed at $15,000. I am no Syncro expert, but that seemed a little high. Also found out from these guys Rialta Heaven is a "sister" company of Poptop Heaven. There seems to be some "Caveat Emptor" experiences posted on the Samba regarding Poptop Heaven. One of the gentlemen inside told me "This Syncro is special because they were made to be camper models and so there are very few of the hardtops around. I just smiled and said: "Hmmmnnn". There was also a very nice white Syncro MV inside with factory alloys that belonged to the owner I didn't get the mileage, (sorry!) took a quick look underneath, looked like the original WBX with rusted head covers. On the way back to South Bend, spotted a really nice looking square headlight Titian Red Westy pulling out of the shopping center on US 33 in Goshen, Indiana. Anybody on the list? Very snowy/salty out on the roads today - make sure to wash that baby down!
