Look up Bostig. I think his name is Jim Akiba.
He could either do it or make a good recommendation.

Ever more frustrated -- after 23 patient years -- with the second 1.9 gas
engine I have had in my 83.5 V'gon, I am thinking seriously of installing
(that is, asking someone else to install for me) a diesel. Does anyone know
a source in the Massachusetts area?

The diesel has in its favor, mechanical simplicity and independence
from the myriad of electrical problems that plague the fuel-injected
gas models.
