Mobil One 15W50 Synthetic.Been running this for 5 years now at least.
Suggest a Mann or Mahle filter for the oil.  I also use Redline MT 90
synthetic transmission oil for the manual tranny in my "88 GL. I
switched to this about 8 years ago due to some shifting problems. It
smoothed out tranny operation and I've had no troubles since.
