Hi all. Has anyone used Delrin (Delrin AF or Delrin 500AF?) to replace the shift linkage bushing above the fuel tank on air cooled and diesel Vanagons? http://www.portplastics.com/plastics/bearingAndWear/DelrinAFQUA.html Delrin is used for the USRT Mk3 shift linkage (scroll down): http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswagen/Jetta/Transmission/186/3 Seems to me that some type of Delrin might be a suitable material for the 80-83.5 Vanagon shift linkage bushing above the fuel tank. Yes? No? Input? Neil. -- Neil Nicholson '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ http://groups.google.com/group/vanagons-with-vw-inline-4-cylinder-gas-engines
