Peter Seikel of Germany ran a Syncro DoKa in the Paris Dakar in the late 80s. The race now isn't the same as what it was. To enter yourself, vehicle, co driver and all the other support costs about 100.000 by the time the dust settles. I'll watch from the side line knowing that VW is 1 - 2 - 3 in the standings right now.
