Subject:Re: Is it a car or a camper?

Interesting story.

I never had a problem at any campgrounds. I usually tell the people
running the state/federal/private campsite that I would like a tent
site where I can park that (pointing to my Westy). I tell them that's
my tent on wheels and I just need a place that's shady and quiet.
That usually relaxes them, but the look on their face betrays their
effort to classify me into one of two categories, spoon or fork. Well,
my registration says "Vanagon Campmobile", so that makes me a spork.
That's the price of being unique.
