The alternator shops know where to get the Chinese knock off regulator brush
assemblies for ~$16.00. Almost all the other parts are available this way.
Almost works the same way auto tranny parts.

busdepot price is around 53 bucks

oh, its not a recitfier in the reg, its a transistor, the rectifiers
are in the diode plate inside the alternator.
