Hi list,
Today I delivered my '86 Westy to a local buyer here in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
It's a pretty good van, now, with 600 miles on a good 2.1 rebuild, fuel tank fixed and front wheel bearings, new fire extinguisher and the usual... new Temp II sensor. Price? $9,000 cash.

I still have a 1971 Bay that has a variety of problems, but I'm going to park it until I get back from sailing, sometime in June. In the meantime, I'll be sitting in the cockpit of my Morgan sloop watching the lovelies swim in their tiny bikinis, painting watercolors and playing my guitar, sipping iced beverages down near the Guatemalan border.

If I need a car, I will buy a Nissan.
If I need a headache, I will buy a Vanagon.
