hey, thanks for that tip. sure can't imagine that ...no title needed on a car over 10 years old. that leaves things WIDE open. no engine, no title, ...hey, no problem. and 4 or 5 grand .........what's not to like !! ? if those are worth that, then my fully sorted and smooth working 85 Westy GL with fresh head gaskets and nothing to apologize for on the whole van - like everything works, and nothing worst than a minor ding or two , and no rust ... that would be worth 12 grand then. ( well, it is missing the stove, fridge, sink and propane tank, so it's a Faux Weekender. ) but if these Doka's are worth that with no engine .....and maybe no title.... wow.. lol :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: <JordanVw@AOL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 12:54 AM Subject: Re: ZSI in Nevada is liquidating their collection of doublecabs & > In a message dated 2/2/10 3:11:41 AM Eastern Standard Time, > scottdaniel@turbovans.com writes: > > >> I wonder if 'comes with bill of sale' is code for 'no title.' ? > > *knods head and winks eye* :) > > but hey, that wont stop most people :) > states like maine dont even require titles on vehicles over 10 yrs old. > > thats why you see alot of dokas with maine plates LOL
