Most areas should have a residential harzadous waste service. In Hillsborough county, FL it is the first Saturday of every month. You can drop off gas, oil, antifreeze, old electronics, batteries, pool chemicals, whatever. They did have a sign that said no radioactive wastes. Check the web for solid waste disposal in your area. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of zzyzx Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 3:13 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Stale gasoline in fuel tank We take our used oil to AutoZoneor the like. What does one do with 15 year old gasoline/lacquer from a gas tank. I guess it would make good weed killer...but not EPA approved ;-) S.S.
