hey ..........I think I'll be coming down to Sacto on a parts run next week, god willin' and the crik don't rise. I have had great results with Rain-X and consider it 'standard' for the winter months. I put it on all glass and mirros on the outside of the van. I have seen it seem to be foggy on the windshield though ... probably a matter of applying it correctly to really clean glass. but my vote is YES ! awesome stuff. seeing that rainwater just stream right off if neat. it lasts maybe 3 months, less with more wiper use I'd imagine. I don't even like running wipers that much , and I've never though a faster speed really helped much either. scott www.turbovans.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al Knoll" <anasasi@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, February 04, 2010 11:46 AM Subject: Rain and rain-x and driving in the inclemency > Some folks hate it, some folks love it. > > I use rain-x on my vanagon so I can see through the truckwash on the > superslab. > > Any comments good or bad on it?
