Cheaper and louder. The Honda is significantly quieter (53db v. 62db at no load). And... it's a Honda. I have one of the original Honda generators, like the EU1000, that I bought back in the early '80s. Still running great. But what is the best up to 2000 watts geenerator with the cleanest power output, low noise level, fuel consumption, longest life, best weight to power output ratio and the best for charging the batteries ( I am gravitating to selecting OPTIMA YELLOW TOP battery )? The cost is of no concern for me who will get on 6 month trip around Europe. Thanks in advance, Ark
