So tell me this one's who know. What do you suppose is a decent dollar
amount for a "rolling Chasis" Vanagon is I were sending one (or two) to a
scrap yard? Both have body damage int he rear but are for the most part
sound of too much rust (and have good glass).

I mean how does that work? Do scrap yards usually have a price range?

To give more detail this is a yard whenre he would most likely keep them
there for pick and pull situations.

My original thought was that I'd be willing to "give" them to the yard
because a) we have a good relationship and they have treated us very well
b) it would be of value to me because they will come get them c) I know
where they are if I ever need anything down the road.

I'll have stripped them both of anything I want or can sell - neither will
contain trans or engine. So to me the value is mostly in that they will come
haul them away and I don't have to worry about it.

Your thoughts?
