I have never used the red button (does my 84 even have that?) but
every time the attendant couldn't get the tank to accept propane it
was because the bleed valve (#2 Outage Valve in your instructions)
wasn't open far enough.  They may have to open that thing quite aways
to get action... particularly so (it seems) on a hot day.
