Jeff, I replaced my exhaust system with Frank C's stainless system piece by piece as my old pipes rusted out. The header pipes fit perfectly, the muffler sounds great with less back pressure than stock and after four years of daily driving in the salt belt, everything looks close to new. I had been getting about four years on OEM systems so stainless is cost effective over time. Highly recommended. Replace the head exhaust studs with stainless bolts while you're at it. Im looking to replace the exhaust system on my Vanagon. Its a 90 GL. I am wondering about the quality/fit of the various complete systems I am finding on the various sites. I see van-caf has one for ~675 with the cat and muffler straps included. I also see 2 different options on Bus Depot, and parts for one on Vanagain. I understand some of you may be loyal to one vendor over another, but what I am really wondering is what differences are there between these and which is the easiest to work with as far as getting it to fit properly. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks, Jeff 90GL
