I think they do come up with the left side if you search, it's just that the calipers are not in the menu when you drill down for brakes, you have to search so I was not sure if they were the right ones. I'll order one tonight along with 2 new rotors, $50 a piece is not worth thinking about not getting. And the most disturbing thing of all is they are the same brakes as a '73 bay. So reassuring to be riding around on '60's era brakes.... Aparently BD only has right side ones to sell, and no left side ones. ( unless I missed it somewhere ) . yeah, that caliper oughta work for a good long time, especially if it gets new brake fluid every two years in it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "B Feddish" <bfeddish@NETREACH.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, March 21, 2010 1:54 PM Subject: Is this the right caliper? > Does anyone know if this is the right caliper to buy > > > > http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=251615108 > > > > for my 83.5? > > > > http://www.feddishbasses.com/vw/brakes.html > > > > Thanks, > Byan
