Hi everyone, I hope that this question is on-topic for the Vanagon list. I've got an '89 westy with a 2.5L subaru in it (converted by the PO). This last weekend I pulled the fridge to do some maintenance on it and, once I got it back in, confirmed my suspicions that there is no12V power going to it. I tested the wires going to the relay under the driver's seat, and found that when the engine is running there is no power going to terminal 86 on the relay via the alternator D+ circuit blue wire. This thread on The Samba may answer my question (http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=385806) - but I'm wondering what is the best way to diagnose the fact that this wire isn't getting power. Back in the engine compartment there is a clearly labeled "Ignition +" wire which I'm assuming is what should be energizing this circuit. If I find that the blue wire shown in that thread on the Samba is connected correctly on the fuse panel ... where do I go from there? Thanks, Luke
