Then you can be totally connected with only one device. You can get your email, go online, and find driving directions, right from your front seat...hopefully not while you are supposed to be driving, but... I was just visited, in the "Outback of California" by a modern guy, a surgeon who brought his mobile device along..He used it to find his way from PDX to So Cal... to book his rental house..to find resturants on the trip and to consult with his patients while he was riding his bicycle... I guess once you figgured out how to run one, you wouln't need a GPS, since they have an "app" to interface with all the map and driving direction servers. That 3G signal...it seems a lot more available than WiFi...We were about ten miles from town in the desert and a guy near us was online all the time on his 3G signal... Man, it's hard to keep current on all the new electronics.... Don Hanson I have a couple of Garmin units..one for my bicycle and one for my dirtbike...hand helds but very dependable and good customer service from Garmin.. Wanee festival is only weeks away.
