Subject:Re: Vanagon (carat) Jumpseat in a Bay

There are/were several for sale on thesamba classifieds and I know of
at least one in California. What you need to get is the anchor bracket
that goes behind the seat (must bolt to your frame) and the two
seatbelt parts. These are harder to find than just the seat for some
reason. You might strike gold in a junkyard Carat or '87-'89
Wolfsburg. Good luck! I love my jump seats although I usually only
leave one in behind the driver and strap in my camping equipment
bundle behind the passenger.

Cheers,
Peter

I want one for my '91 Vanagon GL Campmobile to install behind the passenger seat. Does the seat come with a seat belt, or do I have to buy that separately? Once I get the seat, who can I call on for installation advice? Know of anyone in Oklahoma with expertise? Of course, when I install it, I want it to meet safety standards so far as possible.
