From Wiki on Siloxane: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siloxane Dow Corning on their VC automotive use product: http://tinyurl.com/ydh2d6j One example of a polymerized siloxane on Wiki page is polydimethylsiloxane. DC's description of the VC product is "Dimethyl-based viscous coupling fluid". "Silicone Oil" shown here: http://www.thesage.com/catalog/products/Dimethicone.html says "polydimethylsiloxane" Could DC's product be the right stuff for Vanagon VC? If so, group buy? Here's a Vanagon page by Drew on VC. I'm sure most have seen it, but I hadn't. http://tinyurl.com/yg5s83a Neil. -- Neil Nicholson '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ http://groups.google.com/group/vanagons-with-vw-inline-4-cylinder-gas-engines
