Not cheap but not out of the question... maybe I could use my first
Social Security check to buy one.  The questions:

Anyone using one of these?  Comments on install and usage?

Any other similar things available out there?

Any home grown solutions?  Obviously this is not a real complex
arrangement though a non-engineer like me would be guessing which
Stabilus gas strut would be best and exactly where to mount it.
