Yamaha has recently felt the hammer due to declines in sales. Department heads may roll. The key to their recovery is not black and white, but in theory, a reduction in staff would notably reduce overhead. Although they have kept a lid on the details, Yamaha now has to face the music and atone to their investors. Plans for the new Yahama Presto now lay tacet.
