Don, I have one, as do our friends... and the awning is very nice, easily stores under the rear seat, and sets up in less than 10 minutes. Tear down in about 5 minutes. You do need a "clean" surface to set it up, as like a tent you have to lay it out on the ground to insert the framework. Clamps easily to the rain gutter and provides a nice shady entrance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/77623993@N00/4505164371/ Jack R. 84 Westy Wolfie -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Don Hanson Sent: Friday, April 09, 2010 11:29 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Awning questions Has anyone any experience with the Bus Depot's relativly inexpensive awning? I'm interested in something lighter and easier to store than my EZups now that I am just traveling in my van. I specifically wanted to ask if during a real rain can you leave the slider open with the awning mounted over it and not get a bunch of water running into the opening from the roof or the awning.
