Jim,

Push the mirror to one side and you should be able to see the tangs on the
edge. You puch these little guys downwards (or upwards as the case maybe).
They are part of a circular ring that is used to engage the mirror to the
motor assembly. Should pop right out after. Take care not to drop the glass.
