From the web page I'd say the guy has a lot of 'self' invested in this car. He should keep it. If it were in upper Alabama, eastern Mississippi, western Georgia or southern Tennessee I'd take a look & might talk myself into another bug instead of a bus or vanagon. Very Cool and Tons O' Work. No price listed. I can not have another in my stable or I will be put to pasture or shot. Just wash it and clear coat it! throw a rebuild in it and get another 100k. Might need Pans though if sitting on the ground. C-ya Jonce So I have this friend down Austin, Tx way... He has a '63 bug that's been a member of his family for a whole lotta years. Lately he's been simplifying his his life and he's determined that it's time for Gertrude to go to a new owner. Beebs, the owner, put together a little presentation to share his and Gertrude's story. If you're interested in reviving a bug that looks from here to be eminently revivable, please take a look at the webpage and drop Beebs a line. (I could put this on The Samba, but I just think that the lists are a more likely forum for locating the kind of person that will be allowed to adopt, ya know?) < http://www.charcardz.com/gertrude/gertrude.html <http://www.charcardz.com/gertrude/gertrude.html> > Jim Jonce Fancher 56 Single Cab 66 Sunroof Bug 66 Squareback 66 Porsche 912 71 Sunroof Bus 84 Vanagon 7 Passenger 24k Miles 85 Vanagon Westi 2.0L Zetec 03 Sprinter 1 Understanding / Tolerant Wife, 2 Kids and 1 Beagle www.fanchers.com <http://www.fanchers.com/> www.busesbythebeach.com <http://www.busesbythebeach.com/>
