Subject:Re: Replacing Propane tank - how to cut and flange tubes?

I don't know if this was answered yet.
The copper tubing for the propane system is 3/8 tube. All standard fittings
are used.

This "new hobby" is taking me in directions I haven't gone before. One
of them is pipe cutting/flaring.

I read that the copper pipes to the propane tank are 8mm?

In that case, I'm wondering if one of these would be any use in flaring
the pipe after I cut off a couple inches to make it work with the new
regulator on the new tank?

I can't find any metric versions of these so far.

Clues greatly appreciated.

Thanks again. (It takes a community to fix a Vanagon!)
