My pump started buzzing when I swapped in a new (lightly used) tank. I used the pre pump filter to adapt to the smaller tank outlet. Thought the pre-filter might be the problem so removed it. Still buzzy Swapped in a couple of spare pumps that were quiet when just pumping gas from/to a gas can. Buzz. I've tried reversing the flow to clear any possible tank obstructions. No joy. At this point it looks like the tank to me. Any vendors have a tank with the larger (11mm) outlet?
