I would actually like to hear comments on these tires.  I know everybody's
sick of tire threads, but if it's a product that's got a reasonable price
and fits the specs for Vanagons, I think it's worthwhile to share it with
the group.

That being said, here's a pretty negative opinion of the General Altimax
from The Samba:
