also, I've never changed P/S fluid in 15 years either, so maybe I screwed up
in that regard, the fluid (I've read now) absorbs water and needs regular
flushing or corrosion inside system results.

It isn't power steering fluid, it's ATF; that's why I was asking the other
guy- you put P/S fluid in there you have a leak, pronto. I have no idea why;
anybody have the low-down on that? Does P/S fluid absorb water? I think I've
only heard that about brake fluid...
