OK first thing I found this morning is my dipstick 'sleeve' is fractured.
I recall that when I was doing some other thing once and tried to run
without the dipstick in place the EFI was not working properly at all...High
idle, behavior...Do we possibly look here for an overheating condition due
to improper inputs to the 'brain' from a vacuum leak or something?  Grasping
at straws...
