I've tried searching for the answer to this and can't find anything. My '88 Westy has an occasional popping noise that seems to come from the rear, right side of the vehicle. At slow speeds it can be REALLY loud. The weird thing is that it goes away when I accelerate and only occurs when I am not accelerating. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I want to get it out to some parks to go camping, but don't trust it out-on-the-road.
