That tranny sells new for about $750.00. Sounds like a no brainer for someone looking for the 5 speed with linkage and part out or sell the rest of the van with a used 4 speed. Wish I had the $ and my wifes okay to load up the driveway with parts vans again. She rolls her eyes looking over my shoulder as I write this. ? David Clarkson 90 Westy (that wants that tranny in a bad way to go?with my dream BB front/rear disc brakes setup and 2.5 subie dream engine)? -----Original Message----- From: Don Hanson <dhanson928@GMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Thu, Apr 29, 2010 10:11 am Subject: 84 GL fs 5sp Not mine. Just passing on the ad. My first attempt at forwarding something from VWVortex so if I 'done wrong' with this, someone clue me in? http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4868030 Don Hanson
