Subject:rustproofing new fuel tank

I will be buying a new fuel tank for my 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile. What material do you guys recommend for rustproofing of the new tank before installation?

Looks like I will be buying from Bus Depot as the only source available. Van Cafe shows out of stock for the tank. I know I'll get good service and a good tank from Bus Depot, so it only matters to me because I like to have a choice of vendors for an item. I'll buy the other needed parts for the install from Van Cafe, as they offer them as a "reseal kit," with a better price than I would have to pay if I bought them all separately.

BTW, I just bought a jump seat from Van Cafe, and am looking forward to getting it in a few days. Peter threw in the floor bracket from a seat removal, and included the pedestal bracket. I'll see how the install goes, will have to have the floor piece welded in, but that does seem like the best way to go for safety.
