hi, fer sure ...agree with you there, if it's the switch itself, or even if it looks like it could the switch .. after at least eyeballing it. be interesting to hear what it real issue is. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeff Lincoln To: Scott Daniel - Turbovans Cc: vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 12:11 PM Subject: Re: 1.9 Oil Leak question Scott, No offense taken at all. I agree with you completely - and nowe that I re-read what I wrote I can see how it sounded. Just to clarify I DID NOT tell him to just order the part before we diagnose the problem. In context of the conversation I had with him I actualy said: I suggested to him that (if this is what is wrong) he may as well just order a new switch and replace the whole thing since they are so inexpensive. Thanks though for the tips on the other things to check out. That was why I posted to begin with to see exactly what esle I should be looking for. -- Thanks, Jeff '85 GL (Gertie) '90 Carat (Grover - the noble parts donor) '86 (We call this one Scrap) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus
