hello most knowledgeable Vanaguys.
I am looking to buy  syncro westy.
after driving one today i noticed it had a vibration in only 3rd gear
around 3700 rpm...
  i tried revving it to 3700 in other gears with no vibe noticed.

anybody have ideas on where to start or had a similar issue?

also the gas gauge does not work... from the little bit i have heard
this can be a nightmare? anybody know about these?

open to any and all thoughts and opinions
