Similar hazards abound. I discovered a small snap-top honey bottle had tipped over in the curtain tray over the sink while parked on a sloped driveway. For a couple of weeks. Honey, like water, seeks its own level and it finds lots of them in a Westy.

So for the past couple weeks I've found this weird dried foam substance
kinda floating around in the van. It's pale blue, dry, powdery --
collapses when you touch it -- and everywhere.
This afternoon I noticed a blob of the stuff on the rear seat, an
looking up, I spied a much bigger blob on the underside of the poptop
right where it passes over the leading edge of the upper bed platform.
And thar it wuz, right where I keep my toiletries: a can of Shick
Shaving Gel that had blown its contents out of the vent hole in the
center of the bottom.
Shaving gel foam everywhere. Great.
I dunno if this was a freezing thing, or what, but I no longer trust
cans of Shick Shaving Gel left alone, unsupervised, in the van.
NVC, really, but it did get stuck to the inside of the vanagon, so sorta?
