I hate to burst your bubble but all of the refineries buy from everyone and al the refineries sell to sell to everyone. Oil, including oil from the gulf, is just a commodity item. In other words, the raw stock that's in your quart of oil could have come from anyone regardless of the brand. Insisting on not buying BP or anyone else's oil or gas or grease products would be kind of like refusing to buy any food product that contained corn from IOWA. The answer would be , OK - then starve. Some may find it foolish, but I no longer want to use any BP products, just as I have avoided Exxon since the Exxon-Valdez catastrophe. What non-synthetic alternative do knowledgeable list members recommend? Why? David McNeely
