I replaced one of my rear wheel bearings at about 200,000 miles; the other is still going strong at 450,000. Don't think they've ever been regreased, since they're sealed bearings. Karl Wolz |if the rear stub axles spin smoothly, even with say 160K miles on them, I |leave them. |I am not convinced that 'new bearings' are an automatic fix for the next 15 |years. |I've read of 3 cases I think, |of people doing a good job of putting in new rear wheel bearings and they |had to do it over in a few months, and they didn't think they did anything |wrong either. Like the quality of the new parts is questionalbe these days |perhaps. | |scott |turbovans
