I put Hella H4s on my Westy years ago.  One promptly got a stone and
cracked.  I decided not to worry about it too much - an occasional bit of
condensation, but it never rains here I Phx.

Some clown decided to run into me a few years back; the body shop did me a
favor and replaced the broken lens.  About a week later I caught another
stone and, you guessed it, the new lens is cracked just about exactly the
same as the old one.  I'm gonna leave it for a while.

|I put some of the less expensive ones in a customer's 84 Westy - she likes

|One lens is cracked already though , she drives on a dirt driveway a half
|mile ..
|but it's not like there are flying rocks and other cars on that driveway
|...
|seemed odd one was cracked in just a month or two.
|I have about 1 1/2 years on mine, no problems.
